Itinerary for 3 days Fes excursion to Sahara desert

Our desert trip starts at 8.30 am and finish on the last day at 7pm.

We journey from Fes to Ifrane, then to Midelt, Todra, and finally to the Sahara desert. We also go to Erfoud fossils and the Rissani market. We then return to Fes.

DAY 1: FES - IFRAN AZROU - MIDELT - IMILCHIL - TODRA GORGES

Best Morocco Private Tours invites you to see Morocco on a Sahara desert trip departing from Fes. We shall meet you at your riad in Fes at 8:00 a.m. and then travel to Ifrane in the Swiss village manner. We continue our journey through the Middle Atlas and cedar forest, stopping at Azrou to visit the monkeys. After lunch in Midelt's apple village, we continue our journey across the Atlas Mountains, taking in the scenery. We arrive at Rich, a little village. We take a right here, passing through the famed village of Imilchil, and arrive in Todra Gorges in time for sunset, supper, and sleep in a hotel.

DAY 2: TODRA GORGES - RISSANI - MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK AND NIGHT IN DESERT

We'll go for a brief stroll in the Todra Gorges after breakfast. Then we travel via Ziz valley, passing through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. We go to Rissani and then to the Saharan desert of Merzouga. We prepare for a camel trip through the Erg-Chebbi dunes. We'll arrive at the desert camp and spend the night in a Berber tent. There will be a campfire and drumming after dinner.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA CAMEL RIDE - ZIZ VALLEY - MIDELT - FES

You may wake up early in the morning and take a stroll through the sand dunes to see the sunrise, after which we take a camel ride back to the hotel. Then we'll begin our journey via the Ziz Valley, Berber settlements, and the Middle Atlas, arriving in Fes in the afternoon.
