ITINERARY FOR DAY TRIP IN DESERT IN MERZOUGA

Our Merzouga / Erfoud excursion starts at 9 am and finish same day at 7pm.

Merzouga is a tiny community in southern Morocco, approximately 35 kilometres southeast of Rissani, approximately 55 kilometres from Erfoud, and around 50 kilometres from the Algerian border.

The town is well-known for its vicinity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and is thus included on the itinerary of many visitors visiting Morocco. Merzouga features Morocco's largest natural subterranean lake of water.

Excursions in 4x4 are the quickest and most contemporary method to find adventure in the Sahara desert of southern Morocco. We visit the breathtaking and amazing landscapes, and we may encounter local Nomad households. We will also go to Khamlia, a hamlet known for its musicians.
